Red Kite Radio’s annual Christmas gathering was a little bit different this year – we usually go out for a meal in a restaurant, but this year Breakfast Show host Juanita Hughes and her husband James generously invited us into their beautiful home for a festive evening of food, fun and games.
After enjoying a spectacular feast of salmon and gammon followed by a multitude of naughty puddings, guests attempted to guess who the famous people were on a picture board. Newsreader Anne Robinson won a Terry’s Chocolate Orange for her magnificent score of 29 ½ out of 36.
Weekend Breakfast Show presenter Annette Luck entertained everyone with a short quiz and a series of jokes before making an important presentation to Head of Output Chris Long, who is leaving the station at the end of the year after many years of devoted duty to the station and all the members. Chris has trained most of the people working at the station today and has always been there in any emergency. He will be greatly missed and everyone wishes him best wishes, good health and happiness – and we hope he will continue to tune into 107.2fm!
