Hi, I’m Juanita!

Born in Scotland, raised in England since age 12, and now happily based in Haddenham (with a few exciting detours along the way—including five years at the British Embassy in Washington). I’ve always loved working with people—most recently in alumni relations at an Oxford college—and then running a charity for orphans in Eswatini, but I’m also known for bashing out bongo beats, starting a fudge business, and even writing a book!

I’d never imagined being a radio presenter—ever. I only volunteered to help with some admin, secretly hoping for an invite to the Red Kite Christmas Party… and look what happened!

Now I’m bringing my energy to local radio.

Where did I get my name? That’s a fun story involving a Chinese neighbour of my parents in Canada—but the real question is: what’s next? For me, it’s all about saying “Why ever not?”
